Joker Poem

Purple and green

And never unseen

Stalking a Bat

Like a dog, not a cat

With no rhyme or reason

To his fight and his treason

Living sensibly without rules

Eyes shining like mad emerald jewels

His laughter echoes across empty streets

Every bright night the Batman he meets

The shadow to his bright

A self-righteous Dark Knight

A scarlet smile so bright and so bold

The entire city knows the story he’s told.

“Wanna know how I got these scars?”

He asks his victims under the veil of stars

Once they’re dead he bounds away

Leaving the police unsure what to say

Corpses smile at the sight of his blade

Dynamite, gunpowder and gas to be paid

Light floods Gotham and then he’s gone

And the city is left with the echo of his song.

No direction

And all expectation

“Do your work”

They say with a smirk

While anger swells

And all is quelled

I want to scream

At the entire team

We rush at the end

And answers we lend

We get a bad grade

While they get paid

At home I break down

And then feel like a clown

Because New Tech is “Perfect”

And so I’m incorrect

FUCK! I’ve never been so pissed!

This is all for my future? Is there something I missed?

I just wanna punch someone! I just wanna scream!!

I just wanna see ‘em all burned by my steam.

I was really mad in my Spanish class when he gave us really vague directions and meanwhile in another class we had a whole bunch of shit due. i'm just really pissed, as the poem implies and i thought my venting actually sounded kinda good!

Writer's Block: Traditional Pursuits

There are a lot of things we see most often in December, like caroling, potato latkes, mistletoe, mulled wine, eggnog, and returning gifts. What's your favorite holiday tradition?
Ever since i was a little tiny Lii, my mom would let us open one present before christmas. she always chose which one, but it kept my sister and i content until morning. i also remember sleeping in my sister's room. she wanted to make sure i wasn't sneaking out into the living room before mom and dad.

Writer's Block: Physical Education

Call it gym, P.E., recess, or pure hell, most people have participated in a class at school that focused on games and athletics. What sport or game did you hate the most when you were a kid? What sport or game was your favorite?
in middle school we had a gym teacher tell us to run around until we sweated. most of the kids went to the water fountain and smacked eachother to make themselves red and proceeded to dab water on their  fore heads. others still just  wore their ridiculously heavy sweaters. the funny part was that he bought it and we got freeplay because he was so touched by our dedication to physical fitness

A-CHOO!

A Poem

I reach up for the stars

With arms covered in scars

And all at once I’m swept away

Down along and past the bay

Into the ocean I begin to sink

And I feel myself reach the brink

And then with a jolt I’m pulled back up

And given warm tea in a porcelain cup

But the drink burns and kindness is false

And I’m left twisting in this endless waltz

Curled up and crying, bleeding and hurt

And all around me the cruelty is alert

They feed from my pain and my tears too

Their eyes burning my back into a horrible tattoo

I tremble and shake as a familiar voice says

“Don’t worry little one because this is”

“The end of your troubles, your worries, your pains

Come with me and break mortal chains.”

I look up at him, his smile so warm

And as I gazed there came a refreshing storm

And at once I knew just who he was

The God of Death and I felt a buzz

I felt no fear for this kind, kind man

Because I knew that he had a plan

So I embraced him with no hesitation

And I felt that warming sensation

That said I was safe and that I was home

As he hummed to me a small marching tome

And into hell we both descended

And all at once my pain was ended.

THE END

I am here

Well, I've never been on LJ befor now and i just want to let you know, DON'T TAKE IT EASY ON ME!! I wanna know all of the ins and outs and if that means a few flames wit which to cook my whole chicken then SO BE IT!
